Well, everything is packed. My Bike Friday is packed into a hard sided Sampsonite suitecase and weighs 43 lbs. My clothing, personal items, helmet and cycling clothing are packed into a small backpack at a total weigh of 18 lbs. I'm going light! so I'll be hand washing something every evening. Since I am allowed 2 bags at 50 lbs each for international travel, Delta should not charge me anything additional for my luggage. We'll see~~and I'll let you all know.
I'll post on this blog as frequently as I can find a computer with "American" keys. In France the key board was arranged differently than ours and it took me forever to send a short message at "hunt and peck" pace.
I'm leaving on a jet plane tomorrow~ yippee!!
